The Gibson Hall wedding venue is stunning, what’s more, it’s in the very heart of the City of London. We were very excited when Dimitra & Richard booked us for their Gibson Hall wedding in London. This venue is wonderful, however, on top of it, the couple did spectacular decorations in the combination with the lighting. It was really something special.

Morning of the wedding in Central London

The morning started with Dimitra at her sister’s flat next to Regents’s Park for me while Sergio was with the groom and the boys in northwest London. I really enjoyed photographing bride getting ready. She was with the loved ones, friends and family. As soon as the bride wear the dress Red Route Busses and the bridal car arrived to take all wedding party to the St Sophia’s Greek Cathedral in Queensway where the ceremony took place. It was my first time at the St Sophia Cathedral and I must admit, I enjoyed every minute of this wedding ceremony. It was very enjoyable and peaceful.

After the ceremony, we managed to take a whole group picture on the stairs in front of the church which was great and exactly what the couple wished for. Then we all went back to Dimitra’s sister place for some nibbles and drinks. We also managed to take a couple of portraits in their private garden.

Gibson Hall wedding breakfast

After some relaxed reception, we made our way to the Gibson Hall for the rest of the wedding day. Wonderful food, great music and very funny speeches were the best backdrops for Dimitra and Richard’s wedding. Not to mention that Greek dancing was very lively. It was a joy to photograph their wedding day.
